TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Culverhouse student Hannah Moss was named 2021 Central Gulf Regional Collegian of the Year by the Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity at its virtual conference in February. Moss will graduate this spring with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and a minor in art.

Moss has held several leadership roles within the Alpha Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi. She currently serves as the Fraternity’s president and was the VP of pledge education before that. In addition to Delta Sigma Pi, Moss is involved with Culverhouse’s Business Honors Program, for which she serves as VP of expansion efforts.

“The network and career development that I gained from Delta Sigma Pi changed my life. I highly recommend that any Culverhouse student consider applying to DSP,” Moss said. “The upperclassmen mentors that I received when I joined as a sophomore really pushed me to involve myself more within Culverhouse, run for leadership positions, and build relationships with faculty.”

Moss interned with Penske Truck Leasing in Birmingham during the summer of 2019 and recently accepted a full-time position with E. & J. Gallo. Following graduation in May, she will be selling wine in the company’s Sales Leadership Development Program in Nashville.

The Collegian of the Year award is the highest honor a member of Delta Sigma Pi can receive, and the recipient is chosen based on several criteria. These include the individual’s degree of leadership within Delta Sigma Pi, scholastic aptitude, and participation in inter-chapter fraternity events.
