At Culverhouse, our mission states that we are an inclusive community, committed to personal engagement and dedicated to shaping the future of business through excellence in teaching, research, and service.
And to uphold that mission, we need the support of our alumni and friends to empower our faculty and students to become global problem solvers and effecters of positive change.

At Culverhouse, we have countless funds set up to support our college. If you cannot find your fund of interest you can find all Culverhouse funds on the UA giving website.
Our Bama Blitz priority for 2022 is to help defray the cost of the study abroad experience for more of our students, especially those who are first-generation, have financial constraints, or have never been abroad. Your generosity can and will support the costs related to travel in the pursuit of professional and academic growth for our students. With the lifting of travel restrictions, our goal at Culverhouse is to help more students fulfill their study abroad ambitions.
Those students who are the first in the families to attend college may need extra assistance in their academic journeys. Your gift to our first-gen student emergency support fund will do much to alleviate the real financial pressures that these students often face.
Lewis Manderson Jr., a dear friend of the Culverhouse College of Business, recently passed away at the age of 94. His name graces our graduate school of business and landmarks in Tuscaloosa and elsewhere. To support our graduate students at this time, a special fund has been set up in his name.
The recent announcement of Dr. James King as the Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) further illustrates the commitment of the Culverhouse College of Business as it looks to promote measurable outcomes and improvement concerning DEI. One of our goals during this time is to increase philanthropic support in a way that will minimize the number of Culverhouse’s underrepresented minority students who abandon or delay their degree pursuits because of virus-related financial hardship.
Serving as the annual fund for the College, gifts made through membership in Culverhouse Executives Society are used to ensure every Culverhouse student receives a superior and enriching education by funding programs and experiences that grow their professional skills, connect with employers, and ultimately separate them from their peers.
As part of the Rising Tide Capital Campaign, Culverhouse is committed to three areas of growth. Find out how we’re changing the game.
Educating a workforce of future business leaders and innovators requires forward-thinking programs and opportunities to train students for the state of business today but for the rapidly changing landscape of tomorrow.
We have a responsibility as a business school to leverage our expertise and capabilities to change society for the better. In fact, that work is part of our DNA, hearkening back to the case our first Dean, Lee Bidgood, made when establishing the College.
Investing in world-class scholars and their research results in a strong research reputation, rankings, and brand recognition. The payoff is immense: we become a destination for top scholars; more research activity is infused into the classroom; we establish productive industry partnerships; and we improve and inform society.
