January 15, 2023 for high school seniors (incoming freshmen) entering in Fall of 2023.
March 1, 2023 for continuing students and all new transfer students (including graduate students).
Scholarship applications are for scholarships for the upcoming academic year (for example, the application due on March 1, 2023 (January 15, 2023 for incoming freshmen) is for scholarships for the Fall and Spring of the 2023-2024 academic year). Therefore, you submit your application in the semester prior to when you will receive them (note that scholarships available through the application are not awarded in the Summer).
Please apply! Everyone is eligible for scholarships so everyone should apply.
Our committee uses the campus-wide scholarship application for undergraduate scholarships for all currently-enrolled students. Once an application has been submitted, you will not be able to view it again. Therefore, please make sure to write down any information you need before submitting it. Also, please double-check that you submitted it correctly; students often think they have completed the application but have not properly submitted it. You can check with us if you would like our help in determining whether you properly submitted your application.
Currently enrolled students, who are seeking scholarship assistance, should log on to MyBama, click the Academics tab, then look in the center column for the Scholarships box.
After completing the MyBama Application, you will need to complete the RMI/AS Application. Please contact the Program Coordinator, Joseph Martina at jnmartina@culverhouse.ua.edu with any questions.
Our scholarship committee meets shortly after the March 1st deadline to evaluate all of the undergraduate and graduate applications. Scholarships are then assigned based on a variety of factors.
Qualifications to be considered for a scholarship include, but are not limited to:

These are personal circumstances that are outside of your control and have, or likely have had, a significant impact on your academic performance. These challenges could be physical, emotional, or financial. Whether you have overcome these situations or are still currently dealing with them, they are still noteworthy to your personal growth while in school.
