The Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Adam Farmer as Associate Dean Undergraduate and International Programs. Farmer is relieving Dr. David Mothersbaugh, who formerly served in the role and will be returning to a faculty position.

“I’m excited to step into this role with such an amazing team,” Farmer said. “My initial focus will be on supporting them to continue their great work and innovation. As we continue to grow as a college, I look forward to finding new ways to serve our students with the help of our phenomenal faculty, staff, administration, alumni, and partners.”

After earning his doctorate at the University of Kentucky, Farmer served on faculty at Mississippi State University before coming to Culverhouse in 2020 as associate professor in marketing.

Prior to this appointment, Farmer has served in a number of administrative roles including Associate Department Chair in Marketing (UA), Marketing Ph.D. Program Coordinator (UA), and Co-Director of the MILO Biometric Research Lab (MSU).

He has also been involved in leadership development, faculty hiring, faculty mentoring, and college-level strategic planning.
