Trevor Bain, a retired professor of management, was recently awarded the 2018 LERA Fellow by the Labor and Employment Relations Association. The award honors dedicated scholars and practitioners who have made contributions of unusual distinction to the profession and those who have been in the field for longer than 10 years.
The Awards Committee was most impressed by Bain’s research in international industrial relations, human resources, and his authorship of over 75 books, journal articles, chapters and monographs. The Committee commended Bain’s critical involvement in finding the original Birmingham LERA chapter, and his involvement as the Chapter Advisor.
