Bennett Ogle, a senior from Farragut, Tennessee, received a Boren Scholarship in May for the study of languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad, and in June was selected as a Fulbright Student Research Award Recipient.
Ogle is double majoring in economics and mathematics and is part of the Accelerated Master’s Program to earn a master’s degree in quantitative economics and will be an August 2025 summa cum laude Honors College graduate. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society, Blackburn Institute and the inaugural class of Shelby Scholars.
He is also pursuing a museum studies graduate certificate. Bennett is part of the Blackburn Institute and inaugural class of Shelby Scholars.
