Membership Requirements
The only membership requirement for the chapter is that you join the ACFE as a student member and provide proof of membership. To join the ACFE, visit www.acfe.com, select “Join the ACFE”, and complete the student member application. The dues for students are $25 and the application must be printed off and mailed. Our ACFE chapter has no GPA or attendance requirements, and you may send your proof of membership to our chapter email (listed above).
Membership Benefits
The primary benefits that you realize as a member of the ACFE are networking, résumé-building, and professional resources. Once you become a student member, the national office will supply you with information, magazines, and prep materials that can supplement your interest in the field or prepare you for the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) exam. Employers are looking for students who are involved, so our organization provides you with a way of differentiating yourself from other qualified students. Most importantly, you will be able to connect with other members, as well as professors, who can help you establish a foundation for your career and future.
