The Association for Information Systems (AIS) serves society through the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of excellence in the practice and study of information systems.
AIS is the premier professional association for individuals and organizations who lead the research, teaching, practice, and study of information systems worldwide.
At the AIS Student Chapter Leadership Conference, the most talented students from some of the world’s most prestigious IS programs will discuss best practices, network with industry experts, share cutting-edge innovations, and experience Tuscaloosa with their fellow students and faculty.
This three-day experience — taking place March 27-29 on the campus of The University of Alabama — involves intense student competitions, exciting panels and workshops, and recognition of the nation’s most outstanding IS students and student chapter activities.
AIS Student Chapter competitions provide students opportunities to learn, observe and develop their skills with current industry leaders. The aim is to allow students to take their classroom knowledge and apply it to real-life situations they might face in the workforce.
