The Manderson MBA offered by The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business is again considered among the top programs in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report. The publication ranks the MBA 55th in the nation for the second year in a row in its 2024-2025 Best Graduate Schools list and 29th among offerings from public institutions.
The Manderson MBA also ranked sixth place among programs within the Southeastern Conference.
Dr. Sharif Melouk, associate dean of the Manderson Graduate School of Business at Culverhouse, said, “We offer a consistently excellent business school experience, which is reflected in us retaining our place among the best MBA programs nationwide.”
“However, what the data doesn’t show is how our students benefit from our methodical approach toward career mentoring and a close-knit community that brings them together to succeed in unison.”

To determine annual MBA program rankings, which for the current ranking period includes 124 programs in total, U.S. News & World Report uses peer and recruiter assessments, incoming student GPAs and acceptance rate, as well as other factors like employment rates at graduation and at 90-days post-graduation.
Focused areas of study offered as part of the Manderson MBA include business analytics, cyber security, finance, financial risk, management and marketing strategy, management information systems, real estate, and supply chain and operations management.
For individuals considering the next steps in their academic journey, the Manderson MBA offers a Round 5 deadline of May 30 for admission in fall 2024.
