Video Game Industry Case Competition

The Management Department in the Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama is hosting a case competition focused on the rapidly evolving video gaming industry. This competition provides students with the opportunity to analyze a real-world management challenge, develop strategic recommendations, and present their ideas in a professional, team-based environment. Designed to enhance critical thinking, collaboration, and presentation skills, the event also serves as a branding initiative highlighting Culverhouse’s commitment to experiential learning.

Important dates

  • Sunday, February 6: Due date for applications
  • Friday, February 13: Notification of application acceptance to teams
  • Friday, February 20:  Training Workshop 1 for teams
  • Friday, March 6: Video due date of case response
  • Friday, March 13: Announcement of finalist teams
  • Friday, March 27: Training workshop 2  for teams
  • Finals: April 10:  Finals

The winners will also have a networking lunch with our alumni judges.

Students interested in participating must submit an application by February 6, and selected teams will deliver their final case presentations on April 10.
