Biography

Zach Thomas oversees the strategic communications and marketing office at The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business. His award-winning work centers around the successful execution of a strategic outreach plan that elevates the College’s brand among key audiences, advances the mission of the College, articulates the vision of the dean, and provides support for internal and external initiatives and needs.

More specifically, he and his team produces or manages a multitude of communications and marketing efforts across all channels that are aligned toward recruiting top students at both the undergraduate and graduate level, fundraising in concert with the College’s advancement and alumni and corporate relations teams, promoting actions taken to support diversity, equity, and inclusion, and highlighting thought leadership and excellence in research and outreach.

He is the recipient of the Culverhouse College of Business Board of Visitors Outstanding Service Award for 2022.
