Susannah joined the Socioeconomic Research Group at the Center for Business and Economic Research in July 2016. She produces population projections and develops metrics for comparative socioeconomic analyses of specified geographic or governmental areas. Susannah also works closely with the Alabama State Data Center and contributes to the quarterly compilation of the Alabama Business Confidence Index.

Susannah received her Master’s degree in Applied Economics at the University of Alabama, where she was a graduate assistant for the Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies and the Blount Undergraduate Initiative. She is an active member of the National Association of Business Economics and the Alabama Association for Economics.
