Donna Blackburn is the director for the University of Alabama Executive MBA Huntsville and Tuscaloosa programs. She is responsible for directing student operations, marketing, recruitment, corporate, and alumni relationships. Some of her key initiatives include helping to establish the second EMBA Program in Huntsville, opening the international trip to Asia and Africa, guiding the social media platforms and other alumni activities while fostering the program, and directing the Alumni Network Board initiatives. She also speaks on the topics of marketing trends, program strategy, and values development for leaders. She has traveled to over 42 countries and has been conducting global trips for EMBA students since 1993. Throughout her career, Donna has focused her efforts on building infrastructure around operations and program expansions. Donna holds a B.A. degree in Journalism and an M.S. in Educational Psychology from Georgia State University.
Ms. Blackburn is a member of the Executive MBA Council, National Defense Industrial Association, Air Space and Missile Defense Association, Women in Defense, The Association of Psychological Type, and is MBTI qualified. She also served on the Executive MBA Council’s Board of Trustees and was a board member of the Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She is also a member of the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Blackburn has presented on topics including marketing, communications strategies and recruiting for executive programs, marketing data and tactical planning, values development, trends and building a give-back culture.
