Mr. Brad Casselman served as Chief Statistician, then Task Order Manager for 20 years at a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama applying statistical methods to fight fraud, waste, and abuse in the Medicare program. He submitted numerous briefs in support of statistical methods utilized in Medicare audits for both Administrative Law Judges as well as the Department of Justice. He served as an adjunct Instructor of Statistics at The University of Alabama from 2006 to 2016, teaching courses such as Statistical Data Management I and II (ST 521/522) and Introduction to Statistical Methods (ST 260).
