Leveraging Engagement to Advance Development

Mentor

Whether you’re a Culverhouse alum or industry partner, you have a desire to connect with students, offering them career support, job opportunities, and resources for success. Complete your profile to share your business expertise through short informational interviews or “flash mentorship.” There is no ongoing mentorship obligation.

Speak at or Sponsor a LEAD Event

Showcase your expertise or support student development by speaking at or sponsoring one of our signature LEAD events. It’s a great way to engage with future business leaders and raise your profile on campus.

Hire Interns, Employ grads

If interested in hiring students through internships, cooperative education, professional internship programs, full-time or part-time employment opportunities, please contact Career Center at Culverhouse Employer Relations Program Director Tammy McLain, tammy.mclain@ua.edu or (205) 348-3455.

Build Cross-Campus Connections

Table: Interact with students at the Culverhouse Get on Board Day or Resource Fair.

Offer LEAD Points: UA organizations and departments can increase attendance and publicity for their events that develop career readiness competencies by offering student attendees LEAD points.
