Dr. Addy is the recipient of the 1997 JP Morgan First Prize-Student Paper Contest of the Mineral Economists and Management Society (MEMS) and the 1997 Richard L. Gordon Outstanding Ph.D. Student Award in Mineral Economics at The Pennsylvania State University. He has presented papers at international conferences and published in Resources Policy, Journal of Policy Modeling, and MacMillan Encyclopedia of Energy. Dr. Addy was listed in International Who’s Who of Professionals in 2000. He is a member of the International Association for Energy Economists (IAEE); the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE); the International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE); the American Economic Association (AEA); the Mineral Economists and Management Society (MEMS); the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME), and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
