Culverhouse Moves Up in U.S. News & World Report Rankings for 2027

Bama Means Business

The Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama improves its standing as one of the leading public business schools in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report in its “Best Undergraduate Business Programs” rankings for 2027.

Culverhouse ranks 30th among all public business schools in a cohort that includes the business programs at the University of California San Diego, University of Oregon, University of South Carolina, University of Utah, William & Mary, and George Washington University.

Culverhouse also moved up one spot in the overall rankings to 50th — Culverhouse is among the top 10 percent of all business programs in the country, public or private.

“We are proud to see that our hard work developing a top-tier business school experience translate to improvements in our rankings, said Culverhouse Dean Kay Palan.

“The experience we offer at Culverhouse combines rigorous academics with real-world opportunities that challenge students to think strategically, lead ethically, and innovate boldly. Supported by transformative programs like Kelly LEAD and guided by faculty committed to student success, our graduates leave prepared to create value for organizations, drive economic growth, and lead meaningful change wherever their careers take them.”

U.S. News & World Report’s undergraduate business programs rankings are based on surveys of deans and senior faculty members at peer institutions from 533 AACSB-accredited business programs.
