Important Updates from Student Services for the Spring 2021 Semester

The Student Services team at the Culverhouse College of Business is here to help you via face-to-face or Zoom-scheduled appointments during the 2021 spring term.
Your academic advisors will be available to answer your questions and help you prepare for the summer and/or fall term 2021 semesters using some familiar tools.
Here is what you can expect:
- The primary approach for Academic Advising in spring 2021 will be either to schedule face-to-face or Zoom advising appointments. You must call (205) 348-4537 to schedule Zoom or face-to-face appointments. Do this early in the spring term of 2021 to be ready for registration.
- Should you have a “quick question”, a virtual “On-Call” format is in place.
- Culverhouse “Student Support Resources” site is available to show you where to find support this semester.
- Express Schedule preparation will be available each week. A select team of Academic Advisors will be available to get your schedule in order. Please be looking at your crimson.ua.edu e-mail for when these sessions will be scheduled. You can find your academic advisor in our advisor directory.
As a Culverhouse student, you must meet with an academic advisor before you will be able to register for summer and/or fall classes. Call 205-348-4537 to schedule an appointment via Zoom.

Key Registration and Graduation Dates and Deadlines
- Classes for spring 2021 begin Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
- The last day to adjust spring 2021 schedules is at 5 P.M. on Wednesday, January 29, 2021.
- May 2021 degree application is available now on your mybama.ua.edu account. The deadline is March 1, 2021.
- The August 2021 degree application is available now on your mybama.ua.edu account. The deadline is June 1, 2021.
- The December 2021 degree application is available on your mybama.ua.edu account. The deadline is October 1, 2021.
- March 5, 2021 – Mid-term grades for spring term 2021 will be posted.
- Monday, March 22, 2021 – Registration period begins for summer/fall 2021.
- Saturday, March 20, 2021 – Last day to drop a class with a grade of “W” for spring 2021.
- March 1, 2021 – Scholarship deadline for on-campus currently enrolled students.
