Dr. Stan Westjohn is Assistant Professor of Marketing & International Business at The University of Alabama. Prior to joining the faculty at Alabama, he earned his Ph.D. in Marketing and International Business from Saint Louis University, and was Associate Professor at The University of Toledo. Stan?s research interests center primarily on international marketing strategy focusing on how consumers respond to different marketing branding and positioning strategies. He has published research in, among others, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Marketing Review, and the Journal of International Marketing. He currently serves on the editorial review boards of the Journal of International Marketing and International Marketing Review, and is on the executive board for the Academy of International Business US Southeast chapter. Stan?s work has been recognized with the Outstanding Reviewer Award for the Journal of International Marketing, the Literati Network Award for Excellence, and the Temple/AIB Best Paper Award at the Academy of International Business. In addition to his academic training he has twelve years of sales and marketing experience. His industry experience is primarily with telecommunications and internet companies, but also includes serving as national sales manager for a paper converter.
