Dr. Murali is an active member of the Production and Operations Management Society’s (POMS) College of Sustainable Operations, as well as the Manufacturing and Service Operations Management (MSOM) cluster of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS). He has organized sessions at POMS and INFORMS annual conferences and is a regular reviewer for INFORMS, DSI, and Elsevier Journals.
Dr. Murali’s research agenda centers around identifying the factors that are most effective in driving firms to become truly sustainable, and in prescribing mechanisms that can bring about organizational change in that direction. His work on groundwater management has been recognized and awarded by the POMS and MSOM societies.
