Dr. Strickland is author with Art Thompson of five books, all of which are in multiple editions. The latest book is the 13th edition of Strategic Management published by McGraw-Hill. This particular book is the best-selling strategic management textbook in the world and is currently being used at 900 universities worldwide. It is published in multiple languages. Dr. Strickland, recipient of the University of Alabama National Alumni Association Outstanding Commitment to Teaching Award, is a very popular speaker on the subject of industry and competitive analysis and implementing strategic management.
